  • I have been involved in the fitness and health industry for almost 10 years after leaving the Army. First as a personal trainer, then as a kinesiologist and now also a Remedial Therapist/Myotherapist. I now incorporate and combines all of these modalities for a very holistic approach. I use the AMN protocols when necessary to understand the dysfunctional systems, and it really helps me understand and screen for all possible scenarios. I enjoy helping my clients through the full journey of healing from the initial assessment, to treatment and then onto rehabilitation. I also have qualifications in mind body medicine and counselling, so I can help with any emotional or psychological aspects of the process.

      I worked with Nick over the course of 2 months in Melbourne where I originally came to him with excruciating back pain. Within a few sessions not only was that pain gone, but Nick went above and beyond for me. He helped me with issues that had been plaguing me for years but I’d always played off as part of life – they weren’t. Thanks to Nick, I’ve never felt better. Before I felt like my mind and body were disjointed, now, I feel the complete opposite.

      I had been working with Nick for a few months when I mentioned to him about my right hip restricting my movement in Pilates class. After one session I have more movement in that hip and it has improved my range of motion during certain Pilates exercises.

      So far I’ve been working with Nick for about six weeks. He has consistently found the way to free the movement of several areas of my body. All I do is say what I’ve noticed isn’t working properly and within the hour he has released it so it can. The magic really happens in the days afterwards. The released muscles stay released. The muscles are working correctly and they stay that way. The patterns in my neurology adjust and sometimes the associated memories and emotions run through and out of my system as well. The more I work with Nick the more I learn about how I can help myself. I learn the Feldenkraise method as well and as I am challenged with new movements Nick assists me with catching up. His work compliments all other movement learning I do. I dance tango and I’ve never danced so well without getting to a class for two months. His methods are easily dismissed until you feel the instant positive change he can enable. What he does is based on science. It’s true that we have brains so we can move. I’m pleased to know the feeling of being able to use mine to its fullest ability.
